On this page you can access the result of the assessments conducted by the data contributors.

By navigating through the side bars, you can explore the data in three different ways:

  • The Data Explorer gives you the full information and actual data from the assessments, with the possibility of filtering the data according to your needs. You can filter by the five thematic areas related to the Right to Defend Rights (Domains), by country or by region. You can also visualize as much information as you need, including the comments and data sources added by the respondents for each question. The comments and data sources are useful to complement the information by adding context, confronting the data with lived experiences from groups, mentioning ongoing processes and procedures related to the question, qualifying the limitations and opportunities regarding an answer, etc. Finally, you can export the data in CVS format.
  • The Visualization of Graphs helps visualize and compare the data published on the platform. You can filter the information you wish to visualize. Select the different “Diagrams” in combination with the filters by the five thematic areas related to the Right to Defend Rights (Domains) to visualize different graphs. You can display the information by country or in a comparable manner between countries or regions. You can also download the charts as you need.

  • The Data Contributors show the list of institutions and organizations which are undergoing or have finalized data collection using this tool. For those which have finalized their assessment and authorized to publish the data, you will find a hyperlink to an automated final report. The final reports compile the main information from the respective assessment in a graphic manner and based on the index values attribute to each question. This way, the report shows the level of compliance of states vis-à-vis the human rights standards and obligations in relation to the five categories of the Right to Defend Rights and its attributes. Note that only data authorized by the data contributors are displayed on this platform.
